The church will have a yard sale this coming Saturday, July 12. Stop in to see us between 9am and 3pm!
We occasionally have a “Food, Fellowship, and Fun” (FFF) event at our church, where you can come, enjoy a good meal, and take some time to play games and share time with good friends! We are happy to have visitors as well!
The next FFF event is this sunday evening at the church.
This Sunday, I will be talking about the “I” word… intimacy. Have you ever connected the word intimacy with a relationship with God? Fans run from the thought of being intimate with God. Followers of God can’t get enough of it. Are you a fan or a follower?
Our church has recently begun a new journey to be a better church, and find better ways to serve God and our community. One key part of this journey is to determine where we are right now, so we can see what we are doing right, and what needs to improve.
Last weekend we had several vistors who came to give us an outside look at where we are, and Dr. Doug Talley gave a presentation about church life cycles:
This coming Sunday will mark the start of a new series of messages entitled “Not A Fan”. The word “fan” is defined as “an enthusiastic admirer”. Being a fan of Jesus doesn’t sound like a bad thing. We should admire Jesus! But while being an admirer is fine, being a completely devoted follower of Jesus is an entirely different thing. What exactly am I talking about? I’ll explain on Sunday. Hope to see you then.
